Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) is seeking an Angiography Technologist to perform angiography procedures, scrub and monitor, and capture high-quality images. The role supports diagnostic and interventional imaging in a team-focused hospital setting.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, consent, safety compliance, and meticulous documentation while maintaining radiation safety standards and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current licensure and certifications such as ARRT, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS (for pediatric cases).
• 1-2 years of Angio/interventional experience for entry to mid-level; 2+ years for advanced roles.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, sterile techniques, and radiation safety.
• Ability to respond to emergent situations, communicate effectively, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to handle equipment, assist with patient transfers, and navigate busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist during procedures by acting as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech, ensuring adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Operate IR equipment and information systems to produce high-quality images.
• Prepare patients, verify identification, obtain consent, and ensure comfort and safety, following radiation safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient reactions, and incidents.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• At the conclusion of procedures, manage hemostasis through sheath management or pressure application.
