Qualifications

• ARRT certification and active state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) and ACLS within 120 days.
• PALS within 120 days if pediatric program involved.
• Relevant state licensure and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient identification, order verification, and exam readiness.
• Adheres to radiation safety and safe environment practices.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consents.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and adverse events.
• Coordinates care and communicates with other providers post-procedure.
• Sutures sheath or applies hemostasis post-procedure.
