Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hattiesburg, MS is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time coordinator to manage the Angel Tree Program and support the Christmas drive. The role requires a High School diploma and at least two years in an office setting.

You will recruit and train volunteers, track distributions, contact corporate sponsors, and maintain accurate records across locations. This is a dynamic seasonal position with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays.

Job Location: ALM-Hattiesburg Ms Corps - Hattiesburg, MS 39401, Position Type: Seasonal Full Time, Salary Range: $13.00 - $13.00 Hourly, Job Category: Christmas, HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday - MAY REQUIRE WORKING ON SATURDAY (FLEXIBLE).

THIS IS A SEASONAL CHRISTMAS POSITION.

This position is responsible for:

• Manages the Angel Tree Program; recruits, trains, coordinates the work of volunteers ensuring ample staff to meet Christmas program needs; prepares records and reports for the Christmas program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interviews, recruits, screens and selects volunteers for the Christmas Angel Tree Program.
• Maintains names of volunteers at the Christmas Distribution Center in a book to be kept current at all times.
• Maintains the statistics, placement and follow-up for all Angels at all locations.
• Contacts Corporate Sponsors on the number of angels they require, preparing materials and angels for delivery.
• Provides accurate and complete information about Christmas Programs.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically.
• Duties are usually performed seated; however, work at the Christmas Distribution Center will require walking, standing, lifting and carrying.
• Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time
• Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
• Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• and
• Two years experience working in an office environment
• or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver's license
