The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking faculty clinicians (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) in General and subspecialty areas of Anesthesia to join our growing department. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology.

Practice Location

Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, WI — a 689-bed Level-1 Trauma Center with state-of-the-art facilities across 32 ORs and multiple outpatient locations.

Department Overview

Established in 1965, our department includes 140 anesthesiologists, 26 anesthesiologist assistants, and dedicated research staff. We perform over 63,000 anesthetics annually across various facilities, emphasizing evidence-based, patient-centered care, education, and research.

Our residency trains 80 physicians, with fellowships in Pediatric Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, Obstetric Anesthesiology, Critical Care, Regional Anesthesia, and Neuroanesthesia. We also offer a Master of Science in Anesthesia program, fully accredited and launched in 2016.

Research Focus

Our research areas include calcium channel biophysics, vascular reactivity, myocardial protection, and neurosciences, supported by NIH and other major funders.
