Job summary

Emplify Health, based in La Crosse, WI, seeks a Clinical Manager of Anesthesiology to provide operational leadership across the OR, outpatient surgery center, and procedural areas. You will partner with the Department Chair and leaders to advance departmental objectives and drive staffing, budgeting, and performance improvements.

The role oversees about 12 anesthesia technicians and a senior office assistant, leads recruitment and development, and guides workflow optimization and communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
• 5-7 years of clinical healthcare leadership experience.
• Licensure or certification required for area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership for ~12 Anesthesia Technicians and a Senior Office Assistant.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, and provider resource management.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and professional development initiatives.
• Partner with physician and operational leaders to achieve departmental goals.
• Support budgeting, capital planning, FTE management, and operational performance.
• Monitor quality metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate departmental communications, meetings, and key operational activities.
• Support Epic optimization and growth of anesthesia services.
