OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL is seeking fellowship-trained anesthesiologists for a faculty role in the Department of Anesthesiology. The position supports a 32-resident residency program affiliated with UICOMP and offers H-1B eligibility.

A competitive base salary range of $650,000-$700,000 plus comprehensive benefits, signing bonus, relocation services, and loan repayment options are provided.

• Licensed by the DEA and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty.

Job description

JOB SPECIFICS

• The Department of Anesthesiology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC) an affiliate of University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP)
• OSF SFMC and UICOMP started a 4-year categorical residency program in July of 2024 with approval for 32 Residents
• Willing to entertain graduating residents and fellows as well as experienced anesthesiologists
• Part time available
• Faculty positions rarely supervise CRNAs.
• Will entertain candidates with subspecialty training for Pediatrics, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic, Pediatric CV, Critical Care and Pain
• H-1B Eligible Site
• Potential for leadership opportunities
• 3 weeks on, 1 week off with only two 16-hour call shifts during the three-working week.One call is in-house, and the other is taken from home. Post-call days are off.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
