Job description

Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist Locum Need

Schedule:

1. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

2. Night Call: 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM

3. 24-hour weekend call

Coverage Dates (Weeks of):

1. May

2. May 25 - June 8

3. June

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based Cardiac Rehab Unit

• 228-bed facility

• Adult and Geriatric Patient Population

• Average Census: 2-10 patients/day

Support Structure:

• 6 Cardiologists

• 1 Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon

• 1 Thoracic Surgeon

• CRNA support in all cases

Procedures & Volume:

• 120 pump cases annually

• Cardiac surgeries (CABG, Valve Replacements)

• Thoracic and vascular surgeries

• Cath lab and endovascular procedures

Requirements:

• Board Certification required (Cardiac Fellowship preferred)

• Active PA license (IMLC may be considered)

• TEE and DEA certifications required

• 1-2 years of experience preferred

Credentialing:

• Temporary privileges in 2-3 weeks (clean background required)

• Full privileges: days

EMR:

• GE Centricity (Outpatient)

• Cerner (Inpatient)
