Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology physician for locum tenens support in Alexandria, VA, starting ASAP. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with supervision of CRNAs and performing own blocks.

The ideal candidate is board certified in Anesthesiology, holds ACLS/BLS/PALS, and has Virginia license. The assignment includes 9 operating rooms and Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with active credentials.
• Virginia license or IMLC eligibility.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services in 9 operating rooms.
• Supervise CRNAs and perform own blocks.
• Adhere to Monday–Friday, 40-hour schedule; locum tenens assignment.
