Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Alexandria, VA, with an ASAP start. The position features a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week across 9 operating rooms and supervision of CRNAs while handling own blocks.

Candidates should be board-certified, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and hold Virginia license or be eligible via IMLC. AMN provides competitive pay along with travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Anesthesiologist with current credentials.
• Active Virginia license or IMLC eligibility.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Experience supervising CRNAs and managing own blocks.

• Supervise CRNAs and perform own anesthesia blocks.
• Provide anesthesia care across 9 operating rooms.
• Support locum tenens coverage with ASAP start and weekday schedule.
