Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in the Alexandria, VA area. The ideal candidate will supervise CRNAs, handle own blocks as needed, and maintain a Monday–Friday, 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist with current VA license or IMLC eligibility.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience or proficiency with Epic systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and perform own anesthesia blocks as needed.
• Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule, 40 hours per week.
• Provide locum tenens coverage and ensure patient safety during perioperative care.
