Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Alexandria, VA. The role involves ongoing blocks and a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week.

You will supervise CRNAs and perform your own blocks within a 9 OR facility, using Epic EMR. Board Certification and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.

AMN Healthcare arranges malpractice coverage and handles travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation for contractor providers.

Qualifications

• Board Certification and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required.
• Virginia medical license or eligibility (IMLC accepted).

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and perform own anesthesia blocks as needed.
• Work with a 9 OR facility in Alexandria, VA.
• Follow Monday–Friday 40-hour schedule and call requirements.
