Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia seeks a General Anesthesiologist in Newport News, VA at Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center. This ambulatory center on the Riverside Regional Medical Center campus features four operating suites designed for comfort, efficiency, and rapid patient recovery.

Offering a total rewards salary of $440K with a $100K sign-on, comprehensive benefits, and a schedule with no nights, weekends, or call.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Current medical licensure (state).
• ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiologic status and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center. This facility is an extension of the medical center and features four operating suites designed to promote comfort, convenience, and efficiency. Applying the latest technology, the surgical team at Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center performs outpatient endoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures that result in quicker recovery times for patients.

Total Rewards Salary: $440K Sign-on Incentive: $100K

Case Assignments & Schedule:

• Schedule: No nights, weekends, or call.
• General surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, and plastic surgery
