Akicita Federal, LLC seeks board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists to provide on-site anesthesia services to Veterans at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY.

This direct patient care role focuses on a broad surgical and procedural caseload and requires credentialing and privileging at the VA, with scheduling across a multi-provider team seven days a week.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification by the AHA.
• Ability to complete VA credentialing, privileging, and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a broad surgical and procedural caseload across multiple specialties.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively and document anesthesia notes in CPRS.
• Be on-site for scheduled cases and respond to emergencies within established times.
• Follow VA medication policies and complete required VA training on time.
• Coordinate care as part of a multi-provider team covering seven days a week.
