Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is recruiting for locum tenens physicians to cover 3pm–7am on-call shifts with on-call duties including night and weekend coverage. The role includes general, ortho, regional, OB and trauma cases for adult and healthy pediatric populations in inpatient and outpatient settings, with CRNA support depending on staffing.

Assignments are entered via an online portal; Weatherby offers paid malpractice insurance, prepaid travel and housing, and a dedicated consultant 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Call 3pm - 7am; post call day worked; weeknight and weekend call
• 1st and 2nd pager call shifts -- occasional solo call possible
• General, ortho, regional, OB, healthy peds, and some trauma cases
• Adult and healthy peds population
• Inpatient and outpatient setting
• CRNA support on call depending on staffing levels
• General and OB procedures required
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
