Responsibilities

• M - Th, 6:30 am huddle; cases 7 am–3/4 pm
• Backup pager call each night M–Th and weekends
• 10–15 patients per shift
• 3 operating rooms
• General, ortho, healthy peds 1 yr and up, GI/endo, eyes
• No cardiac, complex vascular, neuro, OB, or thoracic cases
• CRNAs take first call; minimal physician callback
• 2 weeks or more per month; ongoing coverage
