Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. The position covers both pediatric and adult general anesthesia cases in inpatient and outpatient settings, with shifts from 7 am to 5 pm and overnight beeper call options.

Qualifications

• Shifts: 7 am - 5 pm (10hr) with overnight beeper call options.
• Sees both pediatric and adult general anesthesia cases.
• Inpatient and outpatient practice settings.
• General anesthesia, MAC, intubations, A-line, airway management in codes.
• Emergent and elective procedures required.
• Obstetrical cases preferred; neonatal, trauma, spinal, epidural and regional anesthesia desirable.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for thoracic, general, regional and obstetric cases.
• Manage airway and perform intubation, arterial line placement as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and codes with appropriate anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with surgical teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
