Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) seeks an Anesthesiologist for HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. The role involves comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures and leading perioperative services.

The candidate must have MD or DO from an accredited institution, completed residency, be board eligible or certified, and hold current licensure with ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital has been serving the Effingham community and the south central region of Illinois since 1875. This fully accredited, not-for-profit general acute care health facility has 133 licensed beds and is an affiliate of the Hospital Sisters Health System. St. Anthony’s services emphasize compassion and the human touch while featuring the most modern technologies available today.
