Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia (Illinois), LLC is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. The role includes pre-anesthesia evaluations, developing anesthetic plans, and managing all phases of anesthesia with strong clinical leadership.

The candidate should hold an MD/DO with completed Anesthesiology Residency and be Board Eligible or Board Certified, with current medical licensure and applicable

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure in applicable jurisdiction.
• ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient physiologic status and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position Requirements Description OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff team up to work in the fast-paced environment.

Total Rewards Salary: $500K annually (prorated based on FTE status) Sign-on Incentive: $100K (prorated based on FTE status)
