Black Hills Surgical Hospital in Rapid City, SD seeks a board-certified/eligible Anesthesiologist to join a team of three anesthesiologists and 22 CRNAs. The role involves a robust regional practice, oversight of perioperative care, and collaboration with surgeons to manage complex patients.

Responsibilities include supervising pre- and post-anesthesia care units, ensuring patient clearance for surgery, and maintaining safe, efficient anesthesia delivery across eleven operating rooms.

Formación

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active involvement in at least 200 anesthesia cases in the last 24 months.
• Board certification by ABMS/AOA/RCPSC or eligible within 5 years.
• Residency/fellowship of 3–4 years in Anesthesia (ACGME/AOA/RCPSC).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee pre- and post-anesthesia care units and ensure patient readiness for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff on complex cases to ensure safe anesthesia delivery.
• Support coverage for multiple operating rooms with a dedicated block nurse and regional anesthesia practice.
