Job summary

Britt Medical in Rapid City, SD is seeking a full-time CRNA to provide anesthesia and analgesia for surgical and obstetrical patients. You will work with anesthesiologists and other clinicians to develop individualized plans and obtain informed consent.

The role includes comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, real-time monitoring, and adjusting care based on patient responses, with opportunities across multiple hospital settings and emphasis on education and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Active South Dakota RN license.
• Current South Dakota CRNA certification/licensure.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Master’s degree in a health-related field preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• 1+ year of related anesthesia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and analgesia for surgical and obstetrical patients.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans and obtain informed consent.
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments.
• Monitor and adjust anesthesia care based on patients’ physiological responses.
• Respond to anesthesia needs throughout the surgical environment.
• Integrate education, research, leadership, management, and consultation into clinical practice.
• Opportunity to work across multiple hospital settings as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Current South Dakota RN license

Current South Dakota CRNA certification/licensure
