Job summary

Robert J Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia services for Veterans in multiple care settings, including OR, endoscopy, radiology, CT/MRI, Cath Lab, and ED. The physician will supervise residents and collaborate with mid-level providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, postoperative notes, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be a US physician with MD degree.
• Completion of ACGME/AOA approved anesthesiology residency.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in OR, endoscopy, radiology, cath lab and ED.
• Evaluate patients and coordinate with residents and mid-level practitioners.
• Document progress notes and ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate with internal and external providers to support patient care.
• Share on-call duties and maintain a high standard of patient safety.
