Job summary

York Hospital in York, PA is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team in a medical direction model. This full-time role offers a mix of personally performed cases and supervision, including CABG, valve surgery, aortic procedures, and TAVR.

You will perform and interpret TEE for open-heart cases, participate in EP studies as needed, and contribute to non-cardiac cases when required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology with cardiac subspecialty preferred.
• Experience with open-heart surgeries (CABG) and valve procedures.
• Ability to perform and interpret TEE; TEE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for open-heart cases including CABG and valve procedures.
• Participate in non-cardiac cases as needed to support the anesthesia team.
• Collaborate in a medical direction model with supervision as required.

What You’ll Champion:

York Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a medical direction model, with a mix of personally performed cases and supervision.

• Open Heart surgery - CABG and Valves
• Aortic surgeries
• Mechanical Cardiopulmonary support systems - Ventricular assist device, Impella device
• Cardiac Cath Lab interventions
• TAVRs
• EP ablations and EP studies
• Mitral clippings
• Watchman procedures
• Catheter based mitral and tricuspid valve replacement
• Perform and interpret TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) for open heart cases and occasional TEE guidance for structural heart procedures
• TEE Certification preferred
• Adult Cardiac Anesthesia Certification optional
• Participate in non-cardiac cases as needed
