Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a Cardiac Surgeon to join a dedicated Open Heart ICU and a high-volume cardiac program. You will collaborate with experienced cardiovascular teams across ICU, intermediate care, and dedicated cardiac units to deliver complex care.

Board-certified cardiac surgeons with US practice experience are required. A General Surgery residency and hospital staff privileges are required, with a competitive incentive plan and parental leave available.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiac surgery by ABA or ABMS with experience as a practicing cardiac surgeon in the United States.
• Completion of a General Surgery residency.
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital.

• Collaborate with highly experienced cardiovascular nursing teams across ICU, intermediate care, and dedicated cardiac units
• Large, high-volume multi-specialty cardiology group employed by WellSpan, offering advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced heart failure expertise
• State-of-the-art 200-bed surgical and critical care tower under construction, featuring dedicated cardiac operating rooms and four hybrid labs
• Parental Leave up to 4 weeks
