Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, seeks a board‑certified Anesthesiologist to join our physician‑led, hospital‑employed team. The position covers a wide case mix with a shared call schedule and a 4:1 supervision ratio for CRNAs. Expect 2060 hours annually and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work within a physician‑led multispecialty system dedicated to high quality patient care and safety in a leading trauma center. Eligible for sign‑on and relocation incentives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through ABA or AOBA or obtained within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges; valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a wide case mix including General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular and Trauma.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and surgeons in a team‑oriented environment with a max 4:1 supervision ratio.
• Maintain licensure, privileges and ongoing credentialing as part of hospital employment.

Wide array of case mix to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory (additional pay for cardiac experience). No complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants. This is a hospitalemployed W-2 position.

Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care. Supervision model with a max 4:1 ratio.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or theAmerican Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
