Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Board-eligible/certified Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in a busy, multispecialty practice. The role involves both clinic and hospital-based duties, with emphasis on comprehensive hand trauma care and elective hand procedures.

The position offers an established team, a supportive environment, and collaborative care across multiple clinics and hospitals in Idaho.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board eligibility or certification in orthopedics.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic residency.
• Hand Fellowship with experience in complex hand trauma.

Responsibilities

• Manage orthopedic hand patients in clinic and hospital settings.
• Perform in-office procedures, injections, casting/bracing.
• Pre-operative assessment, history, and post-operative follow-up.
• Lead or participate in surgical interventions for hand conditions.
• Handle call coverage for Level 2 trauma and general orthopedics.
