Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join its physician-led multispecialty system. Cardiac experience is a plus but not mandatory, and no complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants.

This is a hospital-employed, full-time W-2 role with a 4:1 supervision ratio and 2,060 hours annually for a 1.0 FTE. Benefits include sign-on incentives, student loan repayment, relocation, PTO and CME, malpractice tail, health/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board certification through ABA or AOBA or obtain within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC and affiliated hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with surgeons and CRNAs to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain high-quality patient outcomes with evidence-based practice.
• Assist in scheduling and coverage, targeting 2,060 hours annually for 1.0 FTE.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID.has the region's most advanced Trauma Center which recognizes their dedication to providing the highest quality, most optimal care for all critically ill and injured patients. Saint Alphonsus Health System was named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson Health.

Wide array of case mix to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory (additional pay for cardiac experience). No complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants. This is a hospitalemployed W-2 position.

Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care. Supervision model with a max 4:1 ratio.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or theAmerican Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
