Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited U.S. medical school; foreign graduates may apply with permanent ECFMG cert
• At least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States (US, DC or Puerto Rico)
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of an anesthesiology residency
• Between 21 and 42 years of age
• U.S. citizenship
• Permanent U.S. residency

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in surgical settings to patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Support humanitarian missions and leadership training opportunities
• Be part of the health care team within the U.S. Army Reserve

Requirements:

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
