Job summary

The U.S. Army 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion is looking for an anesthesiologist to join the Army Reserve health care team.

You will deliver expert perioperative care within a multidisciplinary setting, support humanitarian missions, and participate in leadership training to enhance readiness and capability. This role offers unique service opportunities while maintaining ties to civilian practice, and provides a competitive benefits package including special pay, STRAP stipends, HPLRP loan

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school or osteopathy school. Foreign graduates may apply with ECFMG permanent certificate.
• Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education internship.
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States (US or DC or Puerto Rico).
• Eligibility for board certification in anesthesiology.
• Completion of at least one year of an anesthesiology residency.
• U.S. citizenship and permanent U.S. residency.
• Between 21 and 42 years of age.

Requirements:

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Must have completed at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of an anesthesiology residency
• Between 21 and 42 years of age
• U.S. citizenship
• Permanent U.S. residency
