Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia care team in the OR, maintaining equipment, restocking stands, and ensuring smooth patient care during procedures.

You will set up laryngoscope and intubation equipment, prepare syringes and IV tubing, perform QA tests, manage inventory, and assist with invasive monitoring preparations and intraoperative volume resuscitations.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• 1+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service for the Anesthesia clinical provider.
• Set up OR for demanding cases: laryngoscope, intubation equipment, IV tubing, and warming devices.
• Perform quality control tests for point of care testing.
• Responsible for supply and inventory of equipment; report repairs.
• Assist in preparation and draping for invasive monitoring.
• Assist anesthesia provider with intraoperative volume resuscitations.
