Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assemble and check equipment prior to procedures and ensure proper functioning
• Stock and prepare medications, fluids, and anesthesia-related supplies
• Assist during induction, spinals, maintenance, and emergent phases of anesthesia
• Maintain aseptic techniques and sterile environment
• Monitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment; report malfunctions
• Decontaminate, sterilize, and store reusable equipment
• Move carts and equipment between operating rooms
• Track stock levels and reorder items
• Position patients for procedures to ensure safety
• Provide support during anesthesia emergencies and codes
• Assist with room turnover and cleanup
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to calls
• Report safety concerns per policies
• Use secure messaging per protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned
