Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for the midshift. The role supports pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures, with a 40-hour workweek Monday through Friday 11:00am–7:30pm.

You will set up supplies, stock and maintain anesthesia stations, calibrate equipment, perform high-level sterilization and basic troubleshooting. Requires a High School diploma with 1 year in anesthesia tech or related field; Lawson system experience preferred.

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree.
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures.
• Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
• Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation.
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting.
• Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System.

What You Will Need

• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
