Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for Midshift in Arlington Heights, IL. You will assist during pre-, intra-, and post-operative procedures and support equipment setup and room turnover.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to lift and move equipment, and basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 11:00am–7:30pm, with competitive hourly pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, tuition

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Associates Degree required.
• 1 year experience as Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech preferred or a related Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures under supervision.
• Prepare and stock pre-procedure supplies and equipment; manage room turnover.
• Audit, stock and maintain anesthesia supply stations; calibrate POC equipment; ensure sterilization and documentation.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm

What you will do:

• Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
• Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
• Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
• Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

What you will need:

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
