Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Anesthesia Tech for the Midshift in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role supports the Anesthesia Department from 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday, assisting pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, supply management, calibration, and basic troubleshooting, with a focus on room turnover and safety. Candidates should have a HS diploma or associate degree and relevant experience in anesthesia support or emergency care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Associates Degree.
• 1 year of experience as Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or EMT, or an Associates Degree with no clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures.
• Set up pre-operative equipment and maintain room turnover.
• Audit, stock, and maintain anesthesia supply stations; calibrate POC equipment; sterilize and document.

Anesthesia Tech – Anesthesia Department - Midshift

• Position: Anesthesia Tech
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm

What You Will Do

• Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
• Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
• Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
• Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
• Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

What You Will Need

• Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
