Tufts Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to provide essential support in anesthesia and operating room environments. The role includes preparing patients and equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring high standards of infection control.

The position requires basic education and BLS certification, with preference for EMT certification or related healthcare experience. Per diem, part-time scheduling and opportunities for growth are offered within Tufts Medicine.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of related experience in Surgical Services, Operating Room, or PACU.

Responsabilités

• Assist anesthesiologists and nursing staff with patient care tasks.
• Set up anesthesia equipment and invasive monitors.
• Order anesthesia supplies and maintain inventory.
• Report equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain anesthesia and operating room library and records.
• Conduct routine checks of emergency and anesthesia carts.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control in work areas.
