Job summary

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to clinically support the Department of Anesthesia. You will provide supplies and equipment, perform tasks including indirect patient care, and help ensure safe, cost-effective delivery of anesthetic care.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintenance, and collaboration with clinicians, while adhering to safety standards and regulatory policies. Prior experience and BLS/RSI certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and experience requirements are listed in the qualifications section.
• One year of directly related work experience is required.
• RQI or BLS certifications are required per the licensing section.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and sterile techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supplies and equipment for anesthesia and supports daily operations.
• Maintains and services anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assists with record keeping and patient charges as needed.
• Ensures proper handling, sterilization and setup of equipment.
• Participates in equipment testing, inservices and department meetings.
• Supports team culture and collaborates with staff and clinicians.
