Job summary

Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team in acquiring, preparing and applying equipment for anesthesia. You will assist in maintaining patient equipment before, during, and after procedures.

Typical pay range is $20.42–$28.16 per hour, depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500. Hospital experience and EMS credentials are valued and preferred. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Boca Raton, FL.

Qualifications

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Basic Life Support.
• Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician preferred.
• EMT paramedic desired.
• ACLS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
• PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
• Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Assist the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in acquisition, preparation and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Provide support to routine surgical cases by assisting in preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia.

Description

Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional or Anesthesia Technologist: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas. Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia.

Estimated pay range for this position is $20.42 - $28.16 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support.

Additional Qualifications

• Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician preferred.
• Experience as an EMT paramedic desired.
• Knowledge in ACLS desirable.
• Knowledge in PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
