• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/wk; 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday. This position has an on-call requirement covering St. Joseph Hospital and Elmbrook Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed anesthesia provider with duties related to the care and monitoring of patients and equipment.
• Clean, sterilize and set up all anesthesia equipment.
• Assist anesthesia provider with patient assessment, monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
• Provide daily maintenance of equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of necessary equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the preparation of scheduled, emergent, and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia care providers by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are available, in working order & in proper location.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Anesthesia Tech preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
