Job summary

Please review the job information below.***General Purpose of Job:**An anesthesia technician is responsible for assisting the Anesthesiologist before, during, and after surgical procedures. Other responsibilities include handling delicate anesthesia equipment, and ensuring correct supplies, equipment are prepared in case of an emergency. This person must use appropriate judgment in selecting supplies for each case based on size of patient and the type of anesthesia being given. Direct supervision is provided by the Anesthesiologist and OR Manager.
