Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Anesthesia Technician in Rochester, NY. This contract - full-time position supports attending anesthesiologists, residents, and nurse anesthetists in delivering anesthesia care to patients across all ages.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures and performing delegated tasks per departmental policies. The role requires a high school diploma and appropriate certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Cer.A.T. certification preferred and may be required per state/contract.
• ACLS, EMT, Paramedic, RT, Medical, or prior HCA licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and nurse anesthetists in anesthetic procedures.
• Perform routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies.
• Support patient care across the age range from infancy to geriatrics.

Education

Anesthesia Technician

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Pay: $27 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: Rochester, NY

The Anesthesia Technician performs a variety of technicaland supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists,residents and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures forpatients ranging from infancy to geriatrics. Additionally, performs routine anddelegated duties according to departmental policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) preferred and maybe required per state/contract
• ACLS, EMT, Paramedic, RT, Medical, or prior HCA licensingpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
