Job summary

Shriners Children's Chicago has a PRN Anesthesia Tech opportunity within our operating room team. You will assist with maintaining anesthesia carts and room turnover, stock supplies, and support lab specimen transport.

Hours: Our OR team enjoys a quality work-life balance with minimal to no weekend or holiday call. Compensation is based on experience within the posted range of $21.24–$31.33 per hour, with pay determined by years of relevant experience and departmental equity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year related work experience.
• Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the OR anesthesia carts and machines.
• Assist with room turnover.
• Maintain, stock and clean anesthesia OR cabinets and workroom.
• Stock medication drawer and check for outdated drugs.
• Stock equipment drawers.
• Dispose/replace trash bags on carts.
• Order supplies and take specimens to lab.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

1 year related work experience
