Job summary

Anesthesia Tech: Full Time

Mon - Fri 11:00am - 7:30pm

Rotating weekend commitment (about 1 every 8 weeks)

Anesthesia Tech Or OR Experience Preferred

Summary:

  • Provides assistance to the Anesthesia Care Team in the surgical suites to facilitate patient care by maintaining equipment, supplies, and participating in critical phases of anesthesia care.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up O.R. for demanding cases including preparation of laryngoscope, intubation equipment, syringes, IV setup, and warming devices.
  • Perform quality control tests for point of care testing.
  • Manage supply and inventory of equipment, report repairs needed.
  • Assist in patient preparation and draping for invasive procedures, retrieve non-narcotics and blood products, assist with intraoperative volume resuscitations.

Credentials:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program or related program preferred. 1+ years of experience if not a graduate.
