Job summary

ApolloMD partners with more than 100 hospitals nationwide and provides anesthesia services at East Cooper Medical Center. The Anesthesia Technician position supports anesthesia equipment setup, sterilization, inventory management, and patient safety in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1+ year in an OR or anesthesia support setting, with a preferred Cer.A.T./Cer.A.T.T. credential. Equal opportunity employer and emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of OR/surgical/anesthesia support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, sterilization techniques, and infection-control standards.
• Cer.A.T./Cer.A.T.T. credential (ASATT) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and calibrate anesthesia machines, monitors, and related devices prior to each procedure.
• Clean, sterilize, and reprocess equipment per infection-control standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions during procedures and coordinate with Biomed for repairs.
• Stock and manage anesthesia supply inventory; conduct monthly inspections.
• Assist with patient positioning and support the clinical team during anesthesia-related emergencies.
