Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an Anesthesia Technician PRN to assist the anesthesia team and surgical staff. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting with transfers, monitoring devices, and maintaining a safe operative environment.

Must have anesthesia experience, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and a High School Diploma or GED. This role supports patient care across procedures and emphasizes patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Requires anesthesia experience for PRN.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need.
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use.
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices.
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens.
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices.
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights.
