Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to coordinate supplies and assist with anesthesia administration across sites. You will support IV placement, airway management, equipment maintenance, and data collection to analyze costs and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and BLS/AT certifications, with OR experience preferred. Evening shift at Lakeland/St Joseph locations offers 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Associate’s Degree.
• 2 years of relevant patient care experience preferred.
• 1 year of operating room experience preferred.
• CRT-BLS certification (AHA or ARC) 90 days requirement.
• CRT-Anesthesia Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologist with IVs and airway management.
• Coordinate supplies for procedures across sites; stock carts.
• Support equipment trials and vendor evaluations.
• Contribute to long-term capital equipment planning.
• Clean and return equipment; manage reusable supplies.
• Collect data for cost/quality analyses of meds/equipment.
• Provide maintenance for anesthesia machines and related gear.
