Job summary

UHC United Hospital Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia care providers in diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities include setting up IV fluids, monitoring equipment, and airway supplies, while maintaining aseptic technique and inventory control.

The role supports OR throughput and patient safety through timely equipment readiness, sterile processing, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Anesthesiology Technology or equivalent
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience with patient care and anesthesia support preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up IV fluids, monitoring devices, and respiratory equipment.
• Assist anesthesia providers with intubation supplies and airway management.
• Stock and clean anesthesia carts; ensure sterile supplies and proper disposal.
• Maintain aseptic technique and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Respond to anesthesia pages and assist with emergency procedures as needed.
