Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking an anesthesia support professional to assist anesthesiologists by preparing supplies and equipment for procedures. The role includes setting up arterial lines, blocks, and related components, ensuring timely room turnover, and coordinating with nursing staff to keep the OR schedule on track.

The position requires a hospital/surgical background, a High School Diploma or GED, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• One year hospital/surgical background or experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• CPR certification required.
• Laser certification preferred.
• Experience with operating room procedures and anesthesia equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up anesthesia equipment for the operating room.
• Follow laser operating procedures and equipment requirements per procedure.
• Prioritize anesthesia setup, supplies, and equipment according to patient needs and surgery type.
• Assist other OR staff with room setups and turnovers; coordinate beds to operating rooms.
• Set up arterial lines, blood warmers, cell savers, and warming blankets.
• Other related tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
