HonorHealth Piper Surgery Center in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an OR equipment tech to operate, calibrate and maintain anesthesia-related equipment. The role supports anesthesia providers, preparing devices and monitoring systems for all phases of surgery.

Must have high school diploma or GED with relevant healthcare experience; 2 years in anesthesia/equipment tech preferred. BLS and specialized certifications are required or preferred as listed.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates in healthcare, electronics or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years anesthesia tech, equipment tech or surgical technician/technologist preferred.
• Other operating room equipment operations or related healthcare experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Stealth Certification 1 Year required.
• Certified Surgical Technician certification preferred.
• Anesthesia Technician certification preferred.
• AAMI certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operates, assesses, coordinates, calibrates and maintains all equipment within department.
• Assists anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation and application of equipment and supplies for anesthesia.
• Prepares and maintains patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.
• Maintains equipment inventory and coordinates procurement and upkeep in the department.
• Provides customer relations and interfaces with multiple departments to resolve equipment service problems.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on applicable specialty equipment and supplies.
