Job summary

Piedmont Macon North is seeking an Anesthesia Tech, Days, to support anesthesia providers during operative procedures and manage equipment needs in a hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of direct patient care experience, and BLS certification; an Cer.A.T. or equivalent is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Macon, GA, with responsibilities spanning pediatric to geriatric care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of direct patient care in a hospital setting; 2 years preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required by law.
• Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members during operative procedures.
• Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies for general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia.
• Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Provides comprehensive care to patients from child to geriatric during invasive procedures.
