Job summary

UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist the anesthesia team with equipment preparation, supply management, and patient monitoring support across the operating rooms. You will help setup lines, assist with intubation under supervision, maintain inventory, and ensure sterile technique and safety standards are followed to support high-quality patient care.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure smooth turnover between cases

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College courses in Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology preferred.
• BLS certification required; ASAT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs ordering of anesthesia supplies and prepares anesthesia equipment.
• Maintains and stocks anesthesia rooms and equipment.
• Assists anesthesia provider during turnover between cases.
• Supports setup of lines; assists with intubation as directed.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines.
