Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers in the Operating Room. You will prepare anesthesia equipment, maintain supplies, and assist in care for patients undergoing invasive procedures across age groups.

This full-time evening shift (12:00pm - 8:30pm) offers collaboration in a busy OR team, with opportunities for growth within Piedmont's Georgia network and access to Total Rewards and development resources.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
• 2 years in an operating room preferred.
• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers and other health care team in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure.
• Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia.
• Maintain inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Provide comprehensive care to child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services. Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities include specific anesthesia and equipment related comprehensive care to the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year experience with direct patient care experience in a hospital setting Required
• 2 years Previous experience in an operating room Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician Preferred
